Dr. Searles brings specialized expertise in cardiothoracic anesthesia to Singular Anesthesia Services, where he has served as Attending Anesthesiologist at NYP/Westchester Hospital since 2015. His distinguished career combines advanced subspecialty training, academic excellence, and extensive experience in complex cardiac and thoracic procedures.

A graduate of the prestigious University of Dublin, Trinity College in Ireland, Dr. Searles earned his Medical Doctor degree in 2000. He completed his anesthesiology residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, followed by highly competitive fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at Massachusetts General Hospital, one of the nation's premier cardiac surgery centers.

 

Dr. Searles  served as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine for six years, where he contributed to both clinical care and medical education while maintaining his role as Attending Physician. His academic background demonstrates his commitment to advancing the field through teaching and mentoring future anesthesiologists.

Board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and certified by the National Board of Echocardiography in Basic Preoperative Echocardiography, Dr. Searles maintains cutting-edge expertise in cardiac imaging and perioperative assessment. His specialized training enables him to provide exceptional care for the most complex cardiovascular cases.
